DIY kit

To build one or more ACRONET Stations, users can use DIY Kits: these are assembly boxes pre-assembled in the laboratory by specialised technicians, tested for at least 30 consecutive days before shipment, which can be by express courier. As of 2022, each kit also contains the SIM card for a 2-year Internet connection.

Prerequisites are good exposure to sunlight and the positioning of a vertical pole, to which the System components (Station, Solar Panel and Sensors) can be attached.

Installation is simplified to allow anyone to do it with commonly available tools (IKEA model – simple Allen keys and screwdrivers). Likewise, periodic maintenance operations require no special technical skills.

By eliminating the necessary field installation work from the supply chain, which is carried out independently by the end user, costs are significantly reduced while maintaining high professional standards.

Other models

In some cases, Paradigma ACRONET is deployed with a ‘Full Service’ model: in this case, installation and maintenance are carried out by ACRONET workshop technicians. Alternatively, you can opt for the ‘Pay per date’ model: in this case, ownership of the Stations remains with CIMA Research Foundation, which will take care of all the necessary operations. The user only has to pay a monthly fee for the availability of the data.
