Rain configuration

Stazione meteo Acronet Rain - Sistemi monitoraggio ambientale

ACROSTATION

The ACROSTATION modular element is the container in which all the components necessary for the operation of the different configurations take their place. The outer casing is a watertight plastic box, equipped with an atmospheric pressure compensation device, a safety lock, and steel collars for attachment to the support pole. The inner compartment contains:

  • the ACROBOARDLOG electronic board that oversees all data collection operations from connected sensors, energy supply management and communications to and from the ACRONETWORK infrastructure
  • the ACROBOARDPANEL board which houses the commands for switching the station on/off and on which all cables from external sensors and power sources are routed
  • a buffer battery sized for the needs of each specific configuration and the internal wiring connecting the two boards

LAMBRECHT RAIN GAUGE 15189

LB-15189 rain gauge according to the Joss-Tognini model. Rainfall, coming from a collecting funnel with a known surface area, is conveyed to a pair of tilting pans of known volume. When a tray fills up, its weight causes it to rotate around a fixed axis. The collected rain is thus poured out and the filling of the second tray begins. Each inversion of the tilting basins corresponds to a precipitation volume of 2cm3 (0.1 mm of precipitation).

UFLEX SOLAR PANEL UFX020PM

Uflex® multi-crystalline photovoltaic modules ensure high yields and a long service life. The high-performance cells are of premium quality, the glass is anti-reflective with high transmittance, and the frames are made of anodised aluminium. Fixing holes in the back of the panel allow for easy installation.

A DIY KIT is available for this configuration!

The ‘do-it-yourself kit’ contains all the materials and documentation necessary for you to build and install your own ACRONET monitoring station on site.

All you have to do is assemble the individual components and position them in place according to the specified fastening methods. For configurations connected to the infrastructure via a GPRS mobile network, simply insert a SIM card enabled for GPRS (2G) data traffic. From that moment on, all data collected and sent according to the set-up file will be transmitted to the infrastructure and made available on the ACRONETWORK.ORG portal.

By filling out the form, you will receive both the firmware dedicated to this specific configuration and the basic implementation.

You can use the firmware to manage the electronic side of the devices, while the basic implementation is essential for the system to function.

The project documentation is available free of charge to anyone, provided that it is not resold commercially.
