The outer casing is a watertight plastic box, equipped with an atmospheric pressure compensation device, a safety lock, and steel collars for attachment to the support pole. (PM10). An integrated pre-separator can optionally be used for the analysis of respirable particle fractions (PM2.5 -&gt; EN 481 compliant). The determination of dust content in this device is based on the scattered light measurement method. The aspirated air is pre-heated to 50 \u00b0C. The measurement of the suctioned air contains the correct detection of ambient dust concentrations.
