In ACROSTATION o03 Station E is included Electronic card ACROboard “Station” v02, in its latest release.

This board is dedicated both to the collection function and data transmission (via GPRS, with internal antenna) that the supply management of energy to the components (and charging the buffer battery); in addition an integrated board, based on Silicon Labs Si8920BC-IP (analog amplifier), that enables conversion of the voltage sensors with 4-20mA output.

Finally, the GPRS module, with an unencrypted HTTP protocol, transmits data in accordance with the configuration file ACRONETWORK infrastructure, with the update frequency of the order of minutes Under normal irradiation of the site, the power supply is only guaranteed from solar energy through the supplied panel to the station.

The AcroBoard Station v02 is the combined evolution of the previous cards AcroBoard AcroBoard Power Station v01 and v01.

The new card, it includes both the data-logging feature is to charger.

The card, physically, is divided essentially into two parts: the left one is reserved for the power capabilities; while the right one dedicated to data-logging and data transmission capabilities. The two functions are based respectively on the Atmel ATXMEGA256A3BU-AU and GSM / GPRS module SIMCOM SIM900, with communication capabilities into the infrastructure (in standard mode: ACRONETWORK).

The card is characterized by great versatility and ability to receive in input the signals of many types of sensors.
