Short Description: Outdoor Configuration, professional, standard WMO, designed for continuous measurement of "height" and "intensity of precipitation." Solar Powered and data communication via the mobile network (enhanced GPRS antenna for unstable signal).


The configuration is an Outdoor one, called Tagliate from the name of the project site (Quiliano, at "località Tagliate", SV, Italy) of the first installation. The Tagliate Configuration was firstly used in the MONITORAGGIO COMUNE Project and the variable of interest was the rainfall. The Configuration is composed at the Modular Element Level by an ACROSTATION R 01b coupled with a third party sensor (Rain Gauge by NESA Srl). According with the characteristics of the site of installation, placed not so close to the township of Quiliano, a more powerful antenna was required. Hence, the ACROSTATION R 01b is equipped with the ANT-MF-YAG23 antenna (Antenna Outdoor Gain 23dB in the corresponding link on the right), characterized by a gain equal to 23 dB. This area includes both the firmware dedicated to this specific Configuration and the basic implementation. You can use the firmware to manage the electronic side of the apparatuses, while the basic implementation is fundamental to run the system (define parameters, position, etc.). You can easily download them or find them in the GitHub repository.


The Firmware is the program (sequence of instructions) that has to be integrated directly into the microcontroller placed on the ACROBoard selected for the Configuration. Basic Implementation
