Description

In order to meet the design requirements, based on the "Outdoor" the model "CADORNA" configuration is designed. The name comes from the first installation site of Configuration (Via Cadorna, at the University Campus of Savona, SV).

The measuring system provides the combination of a mechanical rocker rain gauge, a composite sensor (T-P-RH), an ultrasonic anemometer, all third parties, and a remote station completed under Paradigm.

As measuring instruments have been used to model "15189" of Lambrecht producer with "bucket" in stainless steel, complies with WMO standards, and model "8095-N" model with solar shield "00841.6", also the manufacturer Lambrecht. The anemometer is the CV7-L model manufacturer LCJ Capteurs.

The station is the ACROSTATION device family "O" (outdoor) released in 03a release.

In the station it is included Electronic card ACROboard "Station" v02, in its latest release. This card is dedicated both to the collection function and data transmission (via GPRS, with internal antenna) that the supply management of energy to the components (and charging the buffer battery).

Power is supplied by a 20W Solar Panel, combined with a 12V buffer battery and 12 Ah.

The connection between the station and the solar panel is through the dedicated cable and protected by the sheath against solar radiation and atmospheric agents.

As regards the actual operation of the configuration, the station receives the signal from the instrument and generates, with the same continuity, the time series data in native form.

The configuration of the firmware (pre-installed in the microcontroller onboard the ACROBoard Station, for the first ignition is stored in the memory of the basic configuration files) allows metadating, the time integration, and a first control accuracy by filtering any values consistent.

Finally, the GPRS module, with an unencrypted HTTP protocol, transmits data in accordance with the configuration file ACRONETWORK infrastructure, with the update frequency of the order of minutes Under normal irradiation of the site, the power supply is only guaranteed from solar energy through the supplied panel to the station.

Tips for Mounting and installation The installation involves the use of two poles galvanized iron NOT supplied with the kit, which allow one, the station's positioning (box containing and solar panel), the anemometer and combined temperature sensor , pressure and relative humidity, the other the rain gauge. the first pole can be anchored to an existing structure by means of suitable clamps (not supplied) or fixed to a plinth arranged through a glass structure (not supplied) and bolts (not supplied). The second should be anchored to the ground, on a plinth arranged with suitable anchor rods.

Firmware

The Firmware is the program (sequence of instructions) that has to be integrated directly into the microcontroller placed on the ACROBoard selected for the Configuration.
