In order to meet the design requirements, based on the model "Acron" the "BRANCA" configuration is designed.

The name comes from the site of the first installation of the Configuration (house Branca, at the University Campus of Savona, SV).

The measuring system provides the combination of sensors for measuring the concentration of carbon monoxide (CO), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), ozone (O3) and Benzene (C6H6), all third parties, and made a remote station in application of Paradigm, all included in a single structure (all-in-one).

As measuring instruments have been used to "UNITEC Sens-IT models" Manufacturer ORION, solid layer.

The part of Acrone dedicated to the station is marked by the same electronic device ACROSTATION family "O" (outdoor) released in 03a release.

In fact, it is included Electronic card ACROboard "Station" v02, in its latest release. This card is dedicated both to the collection function and data transmission (via GPRS, with internal antenna) that the supply management of energy to the components (and charging the buffer battery).

The power is supplied from the mains, for power supply of the sensor, while the part of ACRONET dedicated to Station houses a buffer battery 12V 12Ah.

As for the actual operation of the configuration, the station receives the signals from instruments and generates, with the same continuity, the time series data in native form.

The configuration of the firmware (pre-installed in the microcontroller onboard the ACROBoard Station, for the first ignition is stored in the memory of the basic configuration files) allows metadating, the time integration, and a first control accuracy by filtering any values consistent.

GPRS module, finally, with a non-encrypted HTTP protocol, transmits data in accordance with the configuration file ACRONETWORK infrastructure, with update rates of the order of minutes and Installation Tips for the installation involves the use of a single pole galvanized iron NOT supplied with the kit, which allows the placement dell'ACRONE (the station containment box and sensors).

The pole can be anchored to an existing structure by means of suitable clamps (not supplied) or fixed to a plinth arranged through a glass structure (not supplied) and bolts (not supplied).

This area includes both the firmware dedicated to this specific Configuration and the basic implementation. You can use the firmware to manage the electronic side of the apparatuses, while the basic implementation is fundamental to run the system (define parameters, position, etc.). You can easily download them or find them in the GitHub repository.


The Firmware is the program (sequence of instructions) that has to be integrated directly into the microcontroller placed on the ACROBoard selected for the Configuration. Basic Implementation
